Enrollment for Performing Arts Workshop FALL 2025 is open!! We always do a Christmas show to end the fall semester. Below is a summary of our next show.

You know the story of the birth of Christ. You know the story of A Christmas Carol... with Ebenezer Scrooge and the three spirits. Imagine, if you will, a world in which a Scrooge character was the innkeeper on the night Mary and Joseph came to the inn at Bethlehem. How would he have responded to the events of that night, and how would they change him?

This show is a musical mash-up that feels like Christmas Carol, but points us to Christ. Students will sing in the choir and have the opportunity to audition for speaking parts, solos and ensembles, and perhaps even fun non-speaking roles.

Before you consider enrolling your student(s) for PAW, please read through our PAW Guide below. Signing up means that you agree to these rules and guidelines.

Once you have read the Guide and reviewed the required dates below, use the Enrollment Form to register your student(s).

Performing Arts Workshop (PAW) is a semester long commitment that includes:

Fall Retreat (including auditions, optional) - Thursday, August 28th, 9-11 am

Thursday rehearsals before co-op 9:00am - 9:40am

Dress Rehearsal - Monday, December 1st, 1-3 pm. All costumes, props, lights, and mics will be used.

Showcase - Monday, December 8th. The show will begin at 6:30, but PAW students will arrive by 5:30, having eaten something.

Events above are ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENTS to be in PAW. You must be able to attend those dates and weekly rehearsals. Please look at your calendar before enrolling.

To compensate for higher costs of purchasing and preparing a show this year, we have raised PAW fees for the first time ever to $15 per student per semester. We did not make this decision lightly, as we know finances are tight all around. However, this cost is still fairly affordable for the program we are offering, and will help us keep it going without breaking the bank.

PAW fees must be paid by the first day of classes, September 4th. These can be paid by Venmo, cash, or check.

Below is a link to our Venmo. You will have to enter the amount, according to the number of students you are registering, as well as your name and what the payment is for. For example, "Susan Haines PAW fees."
